病毒此，神經系統(tǒng)除整合感覺、調控機體隨意運動與內臟活動外，還整合腦的高級功能，以實現覺醒與睡眠、學習與記憶，以及思維、意識、情緒等高級神經活動。神經元是神經系統(tǒng)的結構和功能單位。神經元形態(tài)和功能多種多樣，但在結構上大致都可分成細胞體和突起兩部分。突起又分軸突和樹突。樹突一般短而粗，分支多；軸突往往很長，由細胞的軸丘分出，其直徑均勻，開始一段稱為始段，離開細胞體若干距離后始獲得髓鞘，成為神經纖維。習慣上把神經纖維分為有髓纖維與無髓纖維兩種，實際上所謂無髓纖維也有一薄層髓鞘，并非*無髓鞘。
神經元有接受、整合和傳遞信息的功能。一般就長軸突神經元而言，樹突和胞體接受從其他神經元傳來的信息，并進行整合，然后通過軸突將信息傳遞給另一些神經元或效應器。
神經元按其功能可分為傳入神經元（感覺神經元）、中間神經元（聯(lián)絡神經元）和傳出神經元（運動神經元）三種。如果按照對后繼神經元的影響來分類，則可分為興奮性神經元和抑制性神經元。
二、神經纖維神經纖維的基本生理特性是具有高度的興奮性和傳導性，其功能是傳導興奮。每當神經纖維受到適宜刺激而興奮時，立即表現出可傳播的動作電位。
（一）神經纖維傳導的一般特征
1.生理完整性
神經纖維必須保持結構上和生理功能上的完整才能傳導沖動。神經纖維被切斷后，破壞了結構上的完整性，沖動就不能傳導。如果結扎或在麻醉藥、低溫等作用下，使神經纖維機能發(fā)生改變，破壞了生理功能的完整性，沖動傳導也將發(fā)生阻滯。
2.絕緣性
一條神經干內有許多神經纖維，其中包含有傳入和傳出纖維，各條纖維上傳導的興奮基本上互不干擾，準確地實現各自的功能，這種特點叫做絕緣性傳導。
